어제 파나소닉 DMC-LX5 펌웨어 업데이트 관련기사에 대하여 잠시 블로그에 언급을 하였더니,
평소 방문자 없는 블로그에 관련 검색으로 많은분들이 유입되시더군요.
괜하게 본의아니게 낚시성 글을 올린것 같아...
파나소닉코리아 홈페이지를 통한 관련 자료 인용하여 간단한 업데이트 방법 및 향상된 기능들 소개해 드립니다.
먼저 파나소닉코리아 홈페이지(http://www.panasonic.co.kr/)에 접속하셔서 펌웨어 다운로드 페이지에서 LX5 펌웨어를 다운 받으시면 됩니다.

아래는 다운로드 압축화일에 포함되어 있는 업데이트 절차 및 향상된 기능들에 대한 소개입니다.
[펌웨어 버전 업데이트 절차 DMC-LX5]
펌웨어 업데이트 절차는 다음과 같습니다.
1. 웹사이트에서 이용 가능한 마지막 펌웨어를 다운로드합니다.
2. SD 메모리 카드로 다운로드 받은 펌웨어 파일을 복사합니다.
3. SD 메모리카드를 이용하여 업데이트합니다.
4. 펌웨어 버전을 확인합니다.
1. 웹사이트에서의 펌웨어 다운로드.
1) PC에서 웹사이트로 연결하고, 펌웨어 파일을 다운로드 받고 PC에 저장합니다.
2) 펌웨어 파일은 압축되어 있습니다.펌웨어 압축을 풀면 압축파일LX5_V20.bin 파일이 생성됩니다.
2. SD 메모리 카드로 복사
1) 최소 10MB 이상의 메모리카드의 루트 디렉토리에 압축을 푼 펌웨어 파일을 복사하여 저장합니다.
3. SD 메모리카드를 이용한 업데이트
주의사항 : 펌웨어 업데이트가 진행중일 때, 카메라의 전원을 끄지 말 것, 그렇지않으면 FLASH ROM data가 손상될 수 있습니다. 현재 설치되어 있는 펌웨어 버전이 동일하다면, 다음 순서를 진행하지 않아도 됩니다.

4. [ACTIVE MODE] has been added to the [MOTION PICTURE] menu.
- 동영상 촬영 메뉴에서 [ACTIVE MODE] 추가
5. The AF/AE Lock operated by half-pressing the shutter button has been improved.
- AF/AE Lock의 조작성 개선
6. When [MF] is set, you can make fine adjustments to the focus using a simpler
operation than before.
- MF 모드사용시 향상된 조작성
7. The position and size of the AF area you have set are now stored.
- AF 범위의 사이즈 및 위치 설정이 저장 가능.
8. The upper limit of the shutter speed in Manual Exposure Mode has been raised.(Max 250 seconds approximately)
- 수동노출 모드에서 셔터스피드 최대수치가 상승. (대략적으로 최대 250초까지)
9. [MINIATURE EFFECT] has been added to My Colour Mode.
- 마이컬러모드에서 [MINIATURE EFFECT] 기능 추가
10. [MONITOR] / [VIEWFINDER] has been added to the [SETUP] menu.

파나소닉코리아의 업데이트 설명서에는 그림이 없어 약간 이해가 어려우시다면,
위에 링크한 파나소닉재팬 홈페이지를 참조하시면 이해가 쉬우실것 같네요.
아울러 주의하실 점으로 업데이트 전 밧데리가 충분한지 체크하시고, 업데이트중 전원은 절대 끄지 말도록 하는것이 FLASH ROM data의 손상위험을 방지하신다는 것.... ^^;;
그리고, 향상된 기능에 대한 리뷰는 앞으로 시간을 두고서 올려드리도록 하겠습니다... ^^;
